I have over 30 years’ experience in project controls scheduling and cost analysis. This experience

includes VA hospital construction, pipeline installation and well drilling, nuclear waste facility

construction, manufacturing, program development, system validation, remediation, nuclear facility

demolition, waste management and environmental restoration, transmission line renovations and

substation rework and construction, aerospace, and can manufacturing. I have been responsible

for schedule development, schedule validation, inter discipline coordination, proposal preparation,

set up program tracking controls, and Earned Value Management (EVM). My diverse scheduling

experience includes setting up the program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for a company in

the construction of an ethanol fuel plant, transitioned one company from Primavera version 3 to

Primavera Enterprise version 4 through version 5.

My experience includes:

  · Jacobs Engineering – Denver, CO – Project Controls Scheduler – Validation of VA Hospital

construction schedule, developed an integrated schedule for the Bronco Pipeline Company

Niobrara Gathering System Project. This included preparing and monitoring the well drilling,

the pipeline and APC facility construction, the Bronco Station and Gathering system schedules.

Creating resource tracking reports and developing a project web page. Prepared resource

loading graphs and bi-monthly and monthly reports. Provided project controls support to the

Reliance Industries Limited – Petroleum Business E&P Front End Engineering Design (FEED)

project. Updated and maintained progress in the Primavera schedule, prepared weekly

schedule reports and published a project web page for the disciplines to have ready access to

the data. Prepared weekly and monthly status reports to the client including tracking of the

Master Document Register.

  · Matrix Consulting, Inc. Hanford, WA - Senior Project Management Specialist - Matrix provided

project management/controls support to the Department of Energy (DOE) Waste Treatment

Facility (WTF) project. In this role I provided oversight of the Bechtel project schedule for the

construction of the Pretreatment facility. This included in-depth analysis of engineering,

procurement, and construction project schedules. Tracking critical path logic and validating

changes to the schedule. Performing assessments to confirm that work is being performed per

operating procedures. This required site visits to see actual work in progress as well as

attending ongoing progress and status meetings. Preparation of monthly progress reports for

DOE headquarters and local management. Support to other WTF projects in the development

and maintenance of Microsoft Office Project schedules ver. 3 & ver.7.

  · Range Fuels - Broomfield, CO - Senior Scheduler - Developed and maintained resource loaded

project schedules for the construction of a Biomass Ethanol Plant, prepared critical path

analysis and earned value reports for management and DOE reporting. Prepared standard

operating procedures for scheduling and change control processes. Monitored subcontractor’s

  · Envirocon, Inc. - Golden, CO – Senior Scheduler - Developed resource loaded schedules, cash

flow curves, and earned value curves for proposal schedules. Maintained in-progress project

schedules by gathering information from field observations

internal

accounting

documentation. Followed reporting guidelines for schedule and cost submittals to Department

of Energy, Department of Defense, State and Local agencies. Tracked newly awarded projects

at various levels of detail to satisfy the client’s reporting needs for earned value reporting,

variance reporting, schedule and cash flow reviews.

Introduced Primavera Enterprise for

Construction (P5e/c ver. 5.0) to operations personnel and conducted training sessions for field

personnel. Prepared project baseline schedule and cash-flow curve procedures and training

presentation for their implementation.

  · Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site - Golden, CO - Senior Scheduler/Cost Analyst -

Developed an interim cost tracking system for the Solar Ponds Remediation Project. Prepared

monthly program budget reviews for Environmental Restoration, Waste Management, Rad

Safety, and Construction. Tracked leased labor program costs and prepared trend analysis

graphs for monthly reviews. Prepared baseline change proposals and power point slide

presentations. Developed schedules and tracked costs on the Sludge Removal Project.

Utilized real time data to identify trends, create graphs, and incorporate summary reporting.

vertical and horizontal schedule integration for the support equipment program. Provided

monthly status of work packages and analysis of variances to program management in

support of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc budget reviews. Developed monthly estimate to

complete reports. Prepared baseline change proposals as required.

  · MD-80 Aircraft Program - Cost analyst - Verified data integrity including budgets, estimate

to complete, and actual costs incurred, and made corrective action recommendations to

project management. Supported three program clients in tracking the manufacturing and

delivery of aircraft; Swiss Air, Air Italia, and the China “kit” program.

To facilitate the

delivery and assembly of the semi-assembled MD-80’s for the Chinese, developed and

presented a training program for project controls. Successfully worked through an

interpreter to meet the course objectives.

  · Rockwell International - El Segundo, CA - Department of Defense B-1B Bomber Program -

Scheduler - Responsibilities included the development of schedules for the manufacturing of

priority and destiny critical parts. Assisted in the departmental loading of the numerically

controlled 3 & 5 axis machines. Developed schedules and tracked costs for the tooling division

as the development program moved into the production phase.
